The buta — the almond-flame at the base of the Bakı type — is the first shape a kelaghayi master learns to carve. This brooch lifts it off the silk and rebuilds it in beadwork: four greens laid in rows that follow the curl, with a cut green stone at the heart where the woodblock would leave its deepest press.
