Blue is a healing colour, worn against the eye. Three great butas gather in each of two opposite corners, drawn large and filled — the şah buta, the king's buta, which the tradition calls a man's best defence, the mountain that shelters him; flower heads crowd the corners and a dotted border closes the frame. Its name comes from the blue ground (göy) and the şah buta.
