Violet is alvan, the living colour a young woman wears. A dense floral ground has been printed tone on tone, barely a shade from the field itself, and over it four great butas are drawn in pink — the almond-flame at the base of the Bakı type — with a garland border closing the edge. Its name comes from the violet (bənövşə) and those butas.
